Fishing!

My loving husband was gracious enough to get me out of the house to enjoy some much needed time outside. We of course took the boys out to do something we both enjoy. . . fishing. We didnt' catch anything but a crayfish, but we had fun together as a family. Enjoy the sampling of pictures.


Here is the lovely crayfish that Kyle found just off of the shore. It was all we could do to get Josh to touch it. He was very cautious.
Josh enjoyed helping daddy reel in the pole to check the bait. He is very independant and "I do it" is frequent phrase we hear.

Josh loves his brother, Trevin and is very affectionate towards him (sometimes). I love it when I am able to catch those moments on camera!

This is the look I got everytime I asked Josh to look at the camera. He was too busy being a boy and discovering everything to look at his mommy.

Trevin, obviously, is too little to fish or stay in a safe spot. Well, rather than me try to keep him out of the water and keep rocks, grass, weeds, sticks and everything else out of his mouth, we brought the jumperoo so that I could also enjoy some fishing. It actually worked rather well!
